As a social media marketing company, Apollo Media manages many blogs for clients in various and, sometimes wildly, different industries. This requires an army of intelligent and dependable writers. But not just any Joe Writer will do. They must have background knowledge in these topics, the desire to continue reading more about the subject, and the passion to write about them.

One of our strategies in building this literary militia was to organize a social group about blogging and recruit interested and talented writers. Since registering with Meetup.com in September and creating Toronto Bloggers, nearly 80 people signed up. We consider that a smashing success!

Now that we are in the full swing of the New Year and Apollo Media has set up its 2008 business goals, the Toronto Bloggers group will be moving into a new direction: professional blogging. This means that Toronto Bloggers is no longer open to the public; and now more like an exclusive blogger association.

So far, Apollo Media has built an exciting and variable blog network of eight aspiring and dedicated bloggers who all share the objective of becoming probloggers:

Emmanuel Lopez - Motivatorman

Dave Newton – Born Silly

Tiffany Strobel – Super Pink Blog

Luciano Sampaio - The Code Master

Damien Van Vroenhoven - The Rock Blogger

Afshin Mousavian - The Gap Factor

Darius Bashar - Websites that Make Money

Stephanie Miller - Live Lighter

Apollo Media is enthusiastic about this endeavour and plans to start 2008 off right by scheduling a January meeting for the new Toronto Bloggers group. These highly focused meetings will be used to help the bloggers create momentum for their blogs…right into blogger stardom!

Do you have something to share with the world? Do you want to help others by supplying information that you’ve been accumulating throughout your lifetime, just because you love the subject?
