An Intro to Google Notebook |
Google Labs has come up with yet another innovative tool to help users organize and access their web information with Google Notebook. Google Notebook allows users to drop and drag clips, images and text they collect into simple sections that can be interchangeable. The process is incredibly simple and can be done all within the same browser window. Here are some of the principal features of this exciting new web tool:

Access Google Notebook from any web page or computer. Simply sign in with your Google Account to place the Google Notebook extension in your browser’s status bar. With your account, all your clips, notes and settings will be saved and accessible from any page, browser and computer.
Easily clip information from web pages. To place items into your sections, simply highlight the desired content and click the “Clip” button in the Google Notebook window.
Organize your collections into manageable sections. You can create multiple notebooks for different topics or split a single notebook into different sections for whatever you want. You can also add personal notes to everything you clip. If you want to transfer information from one section or notebook to another, you can simply drag and drop your items. You can also use a search tool to find specific terms or items in your collections.
Share your findings with others. Your Google Notebook can be displayed for your friends to view and even edit if you wish, adding a collaborative dimension to your surfing experience. You can even publish your notebook as its own web page assigned with its own web address so any one can come online and view your collections.
Google Notebook can be viewed in full or can be made as an extension within your web browser as a Mini-Notebook.
At Apollo’s Blog, we look forward to utilizing Google Lab’s innovative search tools to build strong collaborative relations between internet marketing professionals and to investigate how users with specific interests use the internet to organize their information, adding yet another dimension to market research and recognizing the needs of your target demographics in the digital marketplace.
